A popular country singer/songwriter is performing in L’Anse next weekend!
Sadie Bass is from Bath, Michigan, and grew up staying at her cabin in Baraga. She’s appeared on the Voice, opened for dozens of national acts, and has released six studio singles. Bass is known for songs like “Wake N’ Bake” and “Wear it Out.”
On Saturday November 9th she will be performing in L’Anse. Sadie Bass says the show will be a chance to see her in a more intimate setting than usual.
“The cool thing about this show is it’s just me and my guitar. Usually when you go in with a full band, whatever you’re set to play, that’s what you’re playing. For shows like this I can kind of improvise. I can read the room, play a ballad if I want, or if they shout out a cover they want to hear, I can play those.”
