Sheila Leahy, Volunteer – Gift of Reading Campaign 20th Anniversary

The Marquette-Alger Reading Council is celebrating the 20th anniversary of the annual Gift of Reading campaign where community members drop off new books at local schools, bookstores, and libraries to be distributed later to needy children, families, and senior citizens through a number of agencies. Co-Organizer and Volunteer Sheila Leahy reminds those who wish to donate books to this annual Campaign that the last date for donations will be December 7.
