Munising, Michigan – February 7th, 2023
Last night, at 9:52pm,The Pictured Rock National Lakeshore Park Service sent out a notice of a fallen ice climber. The climber had apparently fallen from atop the cliffs near Miners Castle yesterday around 5:15pm. The search had to be suspended over night due to tempramental wave conditions of 5+ feet.
The search continues this morning with help from the coast guard.
