The 62nd Annual Art on the Rocks Fine Art Show will be held on Saturday, July 30 from
10:00am-6:00pm and Sunday, July 31 from 10:00am-4:00pm at Mattson Lower Harbor Park in
Marquette.
Art on the Rocks is an annual, juried fine art show held during the last full weekend of July,
featuring over 100 local, regional, and national artists exhibiting and selling their work. These
artists span a wide variety of artistic media, including painting, drawing, fiber arts, jewelry,
wood, ceramics, sculpture, printmaking, mixed media, glass, and more.

Admission to the show is always free and open to the public.
Art on the Rocks is presented by the Lake Superior Art Association. In celebration of the
LSAA’s 70th Anniversary and the return of Art on the Rocks, the public is invited to attend a
special program and reception on Friday, July 29 at Father Marquette Park – the original home of
Art on the Rocks. A free community plein air painting session will be held from 2:00pm-4:30pm,
followed by a display of the completed artwork accompanied by refreshments and remarks
beginning at 5:00pm.
Art on the Rocks is sponsored by Travel Marquette, the City of Marquette, the Lake Superior Art
