The Organization for Outdoor Recreation Professionals has a yearly Campathon in the Academic Hall of NMU. This year they are donating all the funds to the fundraiser for the NMU Coalitioin for the Homelessness. The Student Social Work and Outdoor Recreation Professionals have teamed up to raise awareness in the community. The Campathon will be held January 22nd-January 27th. There will be prizes for each night they stay out. They have tents and all the equipment to camp in the winter. It is really about learning how to winter camp and make it fun. They will learn the right equipment to use to stay warm and enjoy yourself when camping in the winter.
