Marquette – St. Mark's Lutheran Church is hosting a Shalom service on Sunday, January 11 at 7 p.m. at the church on Presque Isle Avenue in Marquette.
The guest speaker will be Nancy Irish, a member of the local Unitarian Universalist Church in Harvey.
The purpose of the Shalom service is to promote social justice and advocacy for peace among all denominations and people.
A free will offering will be collected and donated to the charity of the speaker's choice.
A coffee fellowship hour will be offered after the service. For more information, call 225-1119.
