The film, “The Joy Luck Club” will be shown at NMU on Monday, April 16 at 5 p.m. in the lobby between Payne and Halverson Halls. Through a series of flashbacks, the film tells the story of four young Chinese women born in America and their respective mothers born in China. The free event is part of the “One NMU” multicultural series and is open to the public. For more information, call 227-1554.
