Film Premiere June 6

Marquette – The Upper Peninsula premiere of the film “Older than America” will take place on Saturday, June 6 at 7 p.m. in Jamrich Hall Room 102 at Northern Michigan University.

Admission is free.

The film is a contemporary suspense drama that focuses on the lasting impact of cultural genocide at government-funded American Indian boarding school.

The event is sponsored by the NMU Center for Native American Studies and the Keweenaw Bay Indian Commmunity.
