The YMCA of Marquette County, along with local businesses and the band, Taken for Granted, are sponsoring “Mardi Gras for the Cause” on Friday, September 16 from 12 noon to 8 p.m. in the parking lot of the Y, adjacent to the skate park. There will be food, beverages, and prizes. Donations will go directly to the Red Cross for their Hurricane Katrina relief effort. For more information, call (906) 869-4933.
