Munising – Hiawatha National Forest will offer a two-day, hands-on archaeology workshop for youths in sixth through 12th grades July 14 and 15 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. at Grand Island.
Archaeologists and forest service personnel will guide youths through an archaeological excavation in progress, learning about those who visited or lived on the island as long ago as 3,000 B.C.
