The 2005 Alzheimers Association Memory Walks are being held across the U.P. on Saturday, September 10. Locations include Iron Mountain (Crystal Lake Community Center at 8 a.m.), Ishpeming (Lake Bancroft Park at 8:30 a.m.), Manistique (Manistique Senior Citizens Center at 9 a.m.), Gwinn (Gwinn Clubhouse at 8 a.m.), Marquette (Presque Isle Pavilion at 8:30 a.m.) Funds raised will benefit family services and research.
