There will be a benefit for Amanda Wilcox of Marquette on Sunday, September 4 at 2 p.m. at Rookies Sports Bar in Negaunee. Wilcox recently underwent surgery for the removal of a brain tumor and proceeds from the benefit will help defray medical expenses. Featured will be a 50/50 raffle, a silent auction and door prizes. Auction items include a helmet and plaque signed by Brett Favre, a football signed by Steve Mariucchi and tickets to the December Packer/Lions game. Music will be provided by local bands and refreshments will be available.
