The Marquette County Fair will take place August 11 through August 14 at the Fairgrounds on County Road 553 in Sands Township. Schmidt Amusements will provide the rides and there will be music, food, pony rides, a demolition derby, “Carl Walenda's Hi-Pole Act” and many exhibits. Thursday, August 11 is Senior Citizen Day.
