Marquette – The Flatbroke Blues Band will give a concert on Thursday, May 14 from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library in Marquette.
The concert is to celebrate the positive connection between music and mental illness. The band will perform blues and rhythm and blues classics along with a variety of original songs.
The event is part of the “Your Mind Matters,” an eight week mental health awareness event sponsored by a coalition of community health organizations, advocacy groups and the Peter White Public Library.
