The Ishpeming Senior Center at 320 S. Pine St. will hold a Dessert Social on Friday, January 27 from 1 to 3 p.m. Dessert with ice cream and a beverage will be available for a $1.25 donation. UP Home Health will also be available to take blood pressure, check cholesterol and blood sugar. The cost of the cholesterol screening is $5.00.
