The U.S. Short Track Speedskating Championships will be held December 12 through December 16 at the Berry Events Center, beginning at 6:45 p.m. each evening. Approximately 50 skaters are expected to compete for the honor of being named to the Olympic team that represents the U.S. at the 2006 Winter Olympic Games in Torino, Italy. Along with Apolo Ohno, Amy Peterson and Shani Davis are the top names in U.S. speedskating and are expected to be on the ice.
