The official start of the Holiday Season in Marquette will be on Friday, November 25, starting at 5 p.m. as the community gathers at the New Marquette Commons to welcome Santa and his helpers as they arrive by fire truck in Downtown Marquette. Santa's will welcome children with a free photo and treat. Santa will then preside over the ceremony as the community gathers around the Holiday Tree. The celebration also includes musical performaces by area choirs and pony rides.
