Nahma Township – A memorial service for the St. Lawrence Catholic Church will be held on Thursday, May 7 at 10 a.m. at The Indian Point Church (St. Lawrence Catholic Church) at Indian Point, south of St. Jacques in Nahma Township, Delta County.
The Indian Point Church was built in 1882 by the local Anishinabeg people of the area.
The walls and roof of the church have collapsed and need to be removed from the site. The memorial will basically allow a final good bye to this historic site.
