The Michigan Iron Industry Museum will present “Iron Ore and the Civil War,” a Civil War Encampment, on Saturday, July 29 from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Sunday, July 30 from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Featured will be Civil War artillery, costumed interpreters providing information on military and civilian camp life, cannon and small arms demonstrations, Abraham and Mary Todd Lincoln portrayals, live music by Homegrown Strings, speakers, and children's games and activities.
