Marquette – The Annual “Blues For Life” Cancer Benefit will be held on Saturday, May 9 beginning at 4 p.m. at Lagniappe Cajun Creole Eatery in downtown Marquette.
There will be live blues music by The Flatbroke Blues Band, Fast Eddie's Blues Band and The Spot Blues Band.
Other features include a silent auction, door prizes, and food provided by the Lagniappe.
Tickets are $25 and available at the Screened Image, The Lagniappe and Bald Eagle Harley Davidson. All proceeds go to the American Cancer Society for lcal cancer research and recovery programs.
A motorcycle “Ride for a Cure” will also be held that day, beginning with a “Blessing of the Bikes” at Bald Eagle Harley Davidson in Marquette. The ride will conclude at the Lagniappe at 4 p.m.
