The Northern Center For Lifelong Learning will offer a tour of the drained lake area of Tourist Park on Thursday, June 8 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Remains of the Lake Superior Powder Co., including the foundation timbers for the sulfer house and mixing house, brick remains of two kilns an 1880's wooden dam and the gate house-wheel house location for powder will be viewed.
