Marquette County Conservation District Workshop September 14th

Marquette, MI – Join the Marquette County Conservation District for the fourth and final workshop in the Urban Agriculture Workshop Series. We will meet on Saturday, September 14th at 10:00 am. Learn about native bees and other pollinators and visit Trestle Park, the Marquette County Conservation District’s native plant garden and certified Monarch waystation in downtown Marquette. Learn about invasive plants, how to replace them with natives and how to create pollinator habitat in your own backyard.

We will begin at the Peter White Public Library Community Room for an interactive presentation and then walk to Trestle Park. Snacks and materials provided. Pre-registration is required. For more information or to register, please call 906-226-8871 ext. 108 or visit www.marquettecd.com.
