“Wonders of America” Stamp: First Day of Sale May 27

The United States Postal Service has selected Marquette to host a First Day of Sale ceremony to launch a new set of postage stamps. “Wonders of America: Land of Superlatives” includes a stamp honoring Lake Superior as the Largest Lake. Sponsored by United States Postal Service, Peter White Public Library & Marquette Maritime Museum, the sale will be on Saturday, May 27 beginning at 10 a.m. at the Presque Isle Pavillion.
