Author Sister Helen Prejean to Speak May 22

Sister Helen Prejean, CSJ, the author of “Dead Man Walking: An Eyewitness Account of the Death Penalty in the United States,” will speak on Monday, May 22 in the Great Lakes Rooms of the University Center at Northern Michigan University in Marquette. The program will begin at 10 a.m. and conclude at 2:30 p.m. The cost is $16, which includes morning refreshments and a buffet lunch. Pre-registration is required. Checks should be made payable to the “Diocese of Marquette” and be mailed to: Department of Faith Formation and Education, P.O. Box 1000, Marquette.
