Marquette, MI – The Great Lakes Recovery Centers (GLRC) Run for Recovery will be held on Wednesday, July 24th at 5:00 pm and includes a 5K Run, 5K Walk, and a 10K Run. The event is open to the public and will start and finish at GLRC’s Adult Residential Services facility at 241 Wright Street in Marquette.
All proceeds will benefit recovery housing in the UP. Recovery housing provides structure, support, and a safe environment for those new to recovery and allows the individual to continue to heal from the impacts of substance abuse. We believe that having a safe and supportive environment to transition to after completing treatment is essential for individuals maintaining their path of recovery.
