Marquette, MI – On Thursday, May 30th, 2019, Dr. Jane Wankmiller and the Forensic Research Outdoor Station (FROST) are welcoming a group of scientists from the Institute for Forensic Medicine in Salzburg, Austria. The visiting researchers study human remains at the first European Human Taphonomy Research Facility in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Together, Dr. Wankmiller and the Austrian research team will be presenting a symposium that will include updates on the FROST facility and presentations about our guests’ research in Europe.
These talks are open to the NMU campus community and the public. Each presentation will be approximately 15 minutes in length, and there will be a question & answer period at the end.
