Rock – Spring World Hunger Gathering will be held on Sunday, May 3 beginning with registration at 1 p.m. at Faith Lutheran Church in Rock.
Participants will have the opportunity to walk or ride bikes for monetary or canned food pledges, and to learn about current programs to aid the hungry around the world.
The “Miles for Meals” walk and bike rides will begin at 1:15 p.m.
Worship, presentations and a picnic style supper will follow at 5 p.m.
Cost for the meal is $6.50 and reservations are needed. To make reservations, call the church at 356-6225.
