A lyceum program, The American on the Endurance will be held on Sunday, April 23 at 2 p.m. at the Ishpeming Carnegie Public Library presented by Elizabeth Bakewell Rajala. Ms. Rajala will tell about her fathers adventures as a logger, rancher, and sailor, emphasizing his time with Sir Ernest Shackletons Trans-Antarctic Expedition. The public is invited to this free program. Light refreshments will be served.
