Marquette, MI – The next “Your Health” lecture at Northern Michigan University will be titled “Childhood Obesity: What We Can Do to Help.” Dr. John Bartlett, assistant professor in the Department of Pediatrics and Human Development at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine, will give the presentation at 7 pm on Thursday, March 21in Reynolds Recital Hall. The presentation will cover topics like the multi-factorial causes of childhood obesity, prevention and treatment at home and school, and what a medical team can do to assist in preventing the issue.
The Your Health Lecture Series is designed to provide the Upper Peninsula community with information about health and wellness. It is co-sponsored by Northern Michigan University, Michigan State University College of Human Medicine, UP Health System–Marquette and Superior Health Foundation.
