The Marquette “Cool City” Initiative and Marquette County Active Living Task Force invites the community to “Meet Me at the Commons” between 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Thursday, April 20 . Every third Thursday of the month, the public is invited to meet friends, neighbors and co-workers for lunch in the Marquette Commons. This Thursday, a delicious buffet will be provided by the Portside Inn, including gourmet, healthy and traditional pizzas with a salad for $5. Call the Portside by Wednesday, April 19 to place your order. Also included in this event will be a taste testing of “mocktails” and a fashion show.
