Negaunee – The Marquette Astronomical Society will conduct a public astronomy viewing Friday, May 1 at 9:30 p.m. at the Michigan Iron Industry Museum, 73 Forge Road in Negaunee.
The event is weather dependent. In case of heavy clouds or rain, the event will be held on Saturday May 2 at the same time and place.
Marquette Astronomical Society members will have a number of telescopes set up for viewing the night sky, there will be Moon maps available, as well as information about light pollution and sky friendly lighting, and astronomy resources.
Kids and adults of all ages are welcome.
