Marquette – The annual Spring Salad Spree, sponsored by the United Methodist Women of First United Methodist Church in Marquette, will be held on Thursday, April 30 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the church social room.
More than 50 salads will be served, along with rolls and bars.
Tickets cost $7 and are available from UMW members, at the church office and at the door.
The salad spree is the UMW's primary fundraiser, with all proceeds to benefit local, regional, national and international mission projects. Local projects include Harbor House and the free community meal served at First United Methodist Church the second Wednesday of each month.
The church is at 111 E. Ridge Street in Marquette.
