“Exploring Peace,” a teach-in, will be held on Saturday, October 28 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in Lecture Hall B in the West Science Building at Northern Michigan University. Two great speakers, Loretta Johnson, who has traveled to Palestine with the Michigan Peace Team, and Michelle Near-Obed who has been in Iraq several times with a Christian peace team, will be featured at this teach-in. There will be workshops, children's events and music throughout the day. The event is free and sponsored by Citizens for Peace and Justice and SOS.
