A “Pandemic Influenza Symposium” will be held at Northern Michigan University on Tuesday, October 10 from 7 to 9 p.m. in Jamrich Hall room 102. The public is invited free of charge. The event will provide important information and discuss preparation measures that will enhance the community's ability to respond effectively to a potential mass influenza outbreak. The symposium is sponsored by the Marquette County Health Department, NMU”s pre-medical/pre-dental club, the Student Nurses Association and Sigma Xi.
