Marquette – North Star Academy will host the Empty Bowls Project on Wednesday, April 22 from 12:15 to 2:45 p.m. at 3030 Wright Street in Marquette.
For a $10 donation or more, you receive a souvenir bowl handmade by students. A simple meal of soup and bread will be provided.
All proceeds will go to the Central Upper Peninsula Food Bank, the Women's Shelter, Room at the Inn, and Ayo, the owner of the Rice Paddy for her trip to Thailand to help needy children.
