Republic-Michigamme School is hosting a community healthy fun day on Saturday, March 3 from noon to 5 p.m. at the Republic Motocross off M-95 between Republic and South Republic. Activities include sled dog rides, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, and a bonfire with lunch. Door prizes will be offered every hour. There will be a cardboard and duct tape sled contest. There will be a grand prize of $100 and $25 prizes to winners in the following catagories: 0-8yrs, 9-12yrs, 13-16yrs, and groups of any age. This is not a race. Sleds will be judged on creativity and durability. For more information, call 376-2277.
