A Mardi Gras Dinner, Silent Auction, Art Sale and Music will be offered as a fundraiser for Keweenaw Krayons on Fat Tuesday, February 20 from 5 to 9 p.m. in Mohawks Own French Quarter sometimes known as the Mohawk School Gym. Music will be with the Swedetown Irregulars, Crawfish Moiakka, and Ariel Lake. Dinner (prepared by Rich Simpson with the help of Keweenaw Krayons staff, youth and volunteers and Horizons High School Culinary Class) will be from 5 to 8 p.m. featuring Gumbo, Red Beans and Rice, Corn Bread, Vegetable and King Cake. The Silent Auction will be from 6 to 8 p.m., the Art Sale from 5 to 9 p.m. Dinner Price: $8 ($12 at the door) Pre-schoolers free – Family Discounts Available.
