Escanaba – Deer Day Get-Away will be offered on Tuesday, November 15 at 6 p.m. at the Escanaba Public Library, 400 Ludington Street in downtown Escanaba.

Teens and adults are invited to the library to make a no-sew fleece scarf or headband. The library will also be showing the movie, “A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving” for participants who would like to bring their children with them.

Marquette – “Museum After Dark: Animals Among Us” will be held on Saturday, November 12 from 7 to 10 p.m. at the Marquette Regional History Center, 145 W. Spring Street in Marquette.

Join the MRHC staff for an after-dark adventure! Think everything animals, from games and activities to characters with animal tales and a themed scavenger hunt, photo booth, snacks and surprises. The event is designed for age six and up. At 7:15 Chocolay Raptor Center will offer a presentation with live raptors.

Tickets are $9 for 18 and under, $5 for adults accompanying youth, and $7 for individual adults. Advance ticket purchase is recommended. Tickets will also be available at the door.
