Marquette – The Marquette Dance Cotillion will host a spring dinner dance on Saturday, May 12 at The Landmark on North Front Street in Marquette.
Music will be provided by All Things Audio. The cost is $75/couple or $37.50/single to attend the event and includes all meals and dancing.

Hancock – An Earth Day dance with music by Thimbleberry Band will be held on Saturday, April 21 from 7 to 10 p.m. at the Finlandia University Finnish American Heritage Center in Hancock.

Marquette – In celebration of spring, the Peter White Public Library will host a Swing Dance featuring live music provided by the Westerly Winds Big Band for your listening and dancing pleasure on Tuesday, April 17 from 7 to 8:45 p.m. in the Community Room on the lower level of the library.
The Westerly Winds Big Band, comprised of 18 musicians, mostly from Marquette County specializes in jazz from the Swing Era of the 1930s and 1940s, but also plays more recent big band charts. Learn more about the band at www.westerlywindsbigband.com.
There is no admission charge thanks to funding provided by the Carroll Paul Memorial Trust Fund of the Peter White Public Library.

Negaunee – A Sweetheart Dance will be held on Sunday, February 26 from 2 to 6 p.m. at the Negaunee Senior Center.
Live music will be provided by the Hart Beats, and there will be door prizes, raffles and refreshments.
Tickets cost $5 in advance, and may be obtained at the center from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, or from any dance committee member. Cost at the door will be $7.
A $4 spaghetti dinner with salads, desserts and beverage will be available. Dinner tickets will be available at the door only.
No carry-ins are allowed. The Negaunee Senior Center is a smoke-free and alcohol-free facility.
