Consistently apply pressure to anti lock brakes. If you get stuck in the snow, straighten the wheel, and accelerate slowly, avoid spinning the tires.

Spaghetti dinner benefit for Karlie Rae Hillier who is 5 months old. She has had surgery, and will need to travel to Ann Arbor to get more. She is a smiley happy baby, who is also quite a little trooper! Her parents will use the proceeds to help pay for travel expenses so they can be with their daughter. January 27th from 4-7 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Ishpeming.

Take The Plunge March 17

The Law Enforcement Torch Run Polar Plunge 2007 to benefit the Special Olympics of Michigan will take place Saturday, March 17. Registration deadline is March 3rd. The plunge will take place at 1:30pm at the Little Trout Lake/KI Sawyer Tail Winds Restaurant. There will be an After Plunge Party including a warm meal, prizes and awards. The money that is raised from this event goes to support the sports training and completion for children and adults with intellectual disabilities.

Wine & Cheese Fundraiser Feb. 10

The Negaunee High School Orchestra Booster Club is holding a fund raiser to assist in purchasing new instruments and replace old instruments. The fund raiser is scheduled for Saturday, February 10th from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Negaunee Elks Lodge, 107 S. Pioneer Ave., Negaunee. Wine and Cheese tasting with live music will be our back ground to a live auction with new and gently used art and gift baskets. The tickets are $5.00 to enter (must be 21 years old) and are available at the door or through any Orchestra Member Parent.
