REAL CHINESE CUISINE COMES TO MARQUETTE

Jason Harper, a recent graduate of Northern Michigan University who is now employed as an international educator at Fort Hayes State University in Kansas, joined us this week to tell us about a fascinating book. At first glance, it appears to be a cookbook, but is actually so much more. The volume is called Chinese Cuisine 101 and was written by his English Composition students in China. This unique book not only features true, authentic Chinese recipes, it also features stories and anecdotal recollections about the dishes written by the students who submitted them. It is a fun and educational read that will stimulate your mind and appetite simultaneously!
