IRON ORE HERITAGE TRAIL UPDATE

Carol Fulsher joined us recently to talk about the Iron Ore Heritage Trail that is planned to run across a major portion of Marquette County and is intended to give users a regular pathway to enjoy for recreational as well as educational purposes. The trail is filled with historic references to the iron ore mining heritage to the Marquette County region. Included on the trail are artistic displays as well as descriptive signage intended to communicate the historic aspects of the area.
