Thanks to State Senator Jason Allen for stopping in to join Mark and Walt in the Morning to formally announce his candidacy for the 1st Congressional District of the State of Michigan. Allen is looking to replace outgoing Congressman Bart Stupak, who is retiring after 18 years in office. Allen, a Republican, is running as one of a full slate of candidates , both Republican and Democrat, hoping to to be chosen to succeed the outgoing Menominee Democrat.
