Houghton – The Chocolay Raptor Center will present a live bird raptor program, sponsored by the Copper Country Audubon Society, on Tuesday, October 24 at 7 p.m. in Room G-002 of the Forestry Building/Hesterberg Hall at Michigan Tech in Houghton.
Live, rescued, non-releasable “ambassador raptors” on the glove will accompany the program, providing a unique and awe-inspiring experience. The public is invited and there is no charge.
The Chocolay Raptor Center was founded in 2012 as a center dedicated to the rescue of injured or sick raptors, and the education of the public about raptor and environmental issues.
