Marquette – A Night of Noise at the Library will be held on Friday, April 21 from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library.
The GLOW Club and Marquette Senior High School’s SAFE will host an evening of music and spoken word. Everyone ages 14 and up is invited to attend. The Night of Noise will cap a National Day of Silence, organized to raise awareness of the silencing effects of anti-LGBTQ harassment and bullying in our schools. An open mike will follow performances by local musicians, so bring your music or poetry and help us end the silence!
Refreshments will be served and the event is free of charge. For more information, call 226-4321 or email maschnee@pwpl.info.
