Marquette – Northern Michigan University’s music department will host a piano concert by visiting artist Craig Randal Johnson on Tuesday, March 14 at 7:30 p.m. in Reynolds Recital Hall on the campus of NMU.
Johnson is the conductor and artistic director of Minnehaha Music in Minnesota. He has performed as a piano recitalist across the United States as Finlandia Foundation’s “Performer of the Year.” Other appearances include the Amsterdam Chamber Series in New York, the Rock Church, Sundin Hall, the Hill House, the Landmark Center in St. Paul and various concerts sponsored by Finnfest USA. In January, he played the program “Piano Music from Finland” in Minneapolis, honoring 100 years of Finnish independence.
Admission to the concert is free.
