Marquette – Marquette Hope invites the community to the opening worship service on Sunday, September 11 beginning with social time/refreshments at 11 a.m. in the newly renovated Connection Center, 927 W. Fair Avenue in Marquette. Worship will begin at 11:30 a.m.
After months of planning, grant requests, and renovations, with the majority of work being performed by volunteers, Marquette Hope is open and ready to serve the Marquette community.
Scheduled to attend the opening service at Marquette Hope is newly appointed, Bishop, David Bard. Bard is the Bishop for the Michigan Area of the United Methodist Church and is based out of Lansing.
Marquette Hope is a United Methodist community with three campuses: Connection Center, 927 W. Fair in Marquette with casual worship; First Campus, 111 E. Ridge Street in Marquette with traditional worship; and Skandia Campus, 189 Kreiger Drive in Skandia, with Country Chapel traditional worship. All are welcome.
