The Ahmed Shriners will be selling vidalia onions, fresh from Georgia, on Friday, April 25 in various locations. Onions are $10 for 10 pound bag.
Shriners will be in the parking lot of Northern Stationers in Marquette, in the Lincoln Fair Plaza in Escanaha, at the BP station on M-35 in Gwinn, at the Munising Community Credit Union and in Crystal Falls on the corner of US 2 and 69 near the courthouse.
All money received from the onion sale goes to the Shriners transportation fund which helps transport over 260 kids in the U.P. to Shriner Hospitals for treatment.
