Calendar – Benefits/Fundraisers – UPAWS 1st Annual Chili Cook-Off – Jan 18

Ishpeming – The UPAWS 1st Annual Chili Cook-off will be held on Saturday, January 18 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Red Rock Lanes Banquet Center in the Country Village in Ishpeming.

The cost is $10 for all-you-can-eat chili and the opportunity to vote for the best chili in Marquette County. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Upper Peninsula Animal Welfare Shelter.

Entertainment will be provided by Travis and the Midnight Movers. The event will be emceed by Dee Dee of Sunny FM.

If you think you have the best chili, enter into the challenge! Register your chili by Wednesday, January 15 by calling UPAWS at 475-6661 or email info@upaws.org.
