Marquette – The Marquette Food Co-op will offer a screening of the movie “Queen of the Sun” on Tuesday, March 27 at 6:30 p.m. in the Marquette Arts and Culture Center at the Peter White Public Library.
The film will take the audience on a journey through the catastrophic disappearance of bees and the mysterious world of the beehive. This engaging and ultimately uplifting film weaves an unusual and dramatic story of the heartfelt struggles of beekeepers, scientists, and philosophers from around the world. Together they provide a profound, alternative look at the global bee crisis, revealing both the problems and solutions in renewing a culture in balance with nature.
The Superior Beekeeping Club will meet before the movie at 6 p.m.. All are welcome to attend and learn more about this local bee keeping group.
